Well, Trev is ill now!

at least i don't think so.. he has a flu-like illness and feels pretty awful.

by his own admission, he's been neglecting himself these last few months, and i think with all the stres he's been under that perhaps his immune system is very low.

he looks pretty awful as well, like he's had all the blood drained out of him.. even so, he was going to get on with the things he needs to do today, at least until i intervened.

Hi Marion, I'm so sorry, but not surprised, to hear that Trev is ill. I agree that men can be very hard-headed. My husband is the same way. Maybe they think it's a sign of weakness. But I'm glad he finally listened to you. I hope you take care of yourself too. I know that Trev doesn't believe but I continue to pray for him (and all of you), that he will be comforted during this horrible time. Take good care, hugs from all of us here.

Gloria: now this song has good memories for me. A local band used to play this and they would play it on and on (I guess it helped that the lead singer and I had a crush on each other) They did a great version. Also did a great version of Supremes You keep Me Hanging On but more bluesie and slower. I found one version kind of similar if memories serves me, but then it was sooooo long ago. The video is funny though, but it was the 60's.

Is this sacred service?

i have had a bad day and thought that i eould share it with you to either cheer you up - glad i am not him.. story - my in laws are moving to a flat/appartment, and they had a load of rubbish to be moved from there by today so that the workmen can finish tommorow.they (the in laws) can not do to much as they are quite infirm.

guess who did - in one - me!

i said to my jw wife as i ran to her the meeting would really appreciate a hand here, she indicated that she really could not as she must get to meeting.

You say that it had to be done today and the daughter, your wife, was unable to help her own parents who are infirm? If what you say is true then I say that what you did showed more heart, concern, than what your wife did, if you helped ungrudjingly. I don't want to add any fuel to the fire but I do think that your wife has her priorities a bit screwed up if that was truly the case. Was there no one from the congregation to help? No friends?

Just got back from church. My daughter was in a skit at the end of the service and it was extremely moving. I'm sure there were a few tears shed. Lifehouse was playing during the skit and we ended the service with I am Free. No we didn't sound like the Newsboys but we sounded pretty good. Hope you enjoy.
